We Can Do It

We Can Do It is a new musical originally commissioned by The Ebell of Los Angeles for it's "Herstory" Project. The show brings to life the courage, resilience, and struggles of the women who stepped into the workforce during World War II.

Through the intertwined stories of three extraordinary women—an Irish immigrant, a Mexican American, and an African American—the musical explores the triumphs and challenges of women navigating work, family, identity, and discrimination during a pivotal moment in American history. Their stories illuminate the diverse experiences behind the iconic image of “Rosie the Riveter” and celebrate the strength, determination, and solidarity of the women who helped reshape a nation.
